After travelling through Russia, China and Southeast Asia I met my friend Eva on Bali (Indonesia, page link here) and we took the plane together to Perth. There I met a good friend who borrowed me his campervan “Helmut” for two weeks. The adventure could begin!
First we snuggled with Quokkas on Rottnest Island, then explored the white sand dunes of Lancelin, walked through “The Pinnacles” and walked near the beautiful coast line of “Kalbarri National Park”. In Monkey Mia we saw wild dolphins, eagle rays, sharks and water turtles – one of my favourite places in Western Australia. But the absolute highlight was the Swimming with the whale sharks in the Ningaloo Reef near Exmouth (2000km north of Perth). Through the “Karijini National Park” and the outback we made our way back to Perth.
One girl. One backpacker. Once around the world.
