“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.”
Aloha and welcome all worldtravellers! On my travel blog I want to share all my passion for budget travelling. That’s why WORLDTRAVELLERIN is a student travel blog. It gives you information to worldwide destination for a low budget of young people & backpackers.
Who is WORLDTRAVELLERIN?
- Lisa
- Berlinerin
- Born in 1994
- Speaks German, English and French
- Travel passion: vulcanoes, wild animals, untouched nature and vibrant cities
- Favorite spots: Vanuatu, Mongolia, Indonesia, Bangkok
Why is the name WORLDTRAVELLERIN?
It is a self-created “denglish” (deutsch-englisch/ german-english) word which stands for me as a female worldtraveller because in German all feminin nouns end with “-in”. The information I give are from a perspective of a solo female traveler. I want to show you that traveling alone is not bad, it’s fun and everyone can do it, especially girls!
What am I blogging about?
I am blogging since my work & holiday year in Australia after highschool and I started this blog for my erasmus semester in Finland in autumn 2015. There you can still some articles in German but everything else is in English now to reach out a bigger audience.
From October 2016 to July 2017 I traveled once around the world in 14 countries. Follow my experiences from Transib or living in a hostel for two months in my articles and VLOGs (Video Blogs). My route was the following: Russia, Mongolia, China, Hongkong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Vanuatu, Hawaii, Canada.
Secondly, I am writing about tips for travelling in Europe, especially Scandinavia because I did a semester abroad in Finland (in German), or about my home town Berlin.
I am happy about every message and comment. You can either ask a question by writing a comment which I will approve first or you can write me an e-mail (find contact here).
